概念

特殊疑问句是在英语中以特殊疑问词开头，对句中某一成分提问的句子。根据疑问词分类有疑问代词、疑问副词、疑问形容词：

知道特殊疑问句的主语，询问 "他/他们/我可以做什么" 之类的问句时，就是由主语的情况。；不知道特殊疑问句主语，询问 "谁可以做什么" 之类的问句时，就是没有主语的情况。

特殊疑问词可以由一般疑问句变形而来。在一般疑问句的句首加上疑问词，去掉一般疑问句的答案。

【陈述句】Sam will be back on Friday.
【一般疑问句】Will Sam be back on Friday?
【特殊疑问句】When will Sam be back?

一般疑问句中，具体回答了 Sam 什么时候回来。特殊疑问句是不包含答案的疑问句，所以要把 Sam 什么时候回来的时间给去掉。

不知道特殊疑问句的主语，用疑问代词作主语。
